Our Story
Built Inside a Hospital, Shaped Around Patients
Our clinic began with a question most fertility centres in Cyprus never ask: what would IVF look like if it were built inside a real hospital, rather than in a standalone clinic? When the fertility department of Kamiloglu Hospital, Kyrenia Medical Center opened its doors in 1989, the answer took shape. Patients would have a dedicated, intimate fertility team for their treatment, and the full infrastructure of a hospital around them for their safety: surgical theatres, an intensive care unit, 24/7 emergency cover and an anaesthesia team that works in the same building every day.
In the years since, the clinic has grown steadily and deliberately. Our first IVF cycle was completed in 1989; our embryology laboratory was expanded and re-equipped with time-lapse incubation and vitrification technology in 1989; and our international patient programme, built around personal coordinators who speak English, Turkish, German, Arabic and Russian, was launched in 1989. Today we welcome patients from the United Kingdom, Germany, the Middle East and beyond, many of whom arrive after one or more disappointing cycles elsewhere.
As the clinic grew, our identity evolved with it. We have consolidated our work under one clear name, IVF Clinic in Cyprus at Kyrenia Medical Center, to reflect what we actually are: the fertility department of Kamiloglu Hospital, not a marketing brand operating out of rented rooms. Our mission has never changed: to give every patient an honest assessment, a personally designed treatment plan and the safest possible environment in which to pursue it.
That mission shapes everything you will find on this site. We publish our prices in full, including what is not covered. We publish our success rates by age group and explain exactly how they are measured. And we will tell you, candidly, when we believe a treatment is not the right choice for you, because a clinic that promises everyone the same outcome is not being honest with anyone.
